"Guy Mowbray and Mark Lawrenson are having a childish argument on the BBC. "You can say that," Mowbray tells Lawrenson, aproros some opinion or other of Lawro's. "Just did," snaps the co-commentator. About a minute later, out of nowhere, Lawrenson asks Mowbray if anything is wrong. Last night on ITV, the solo flying Clive Tyldesley proved pretty much conclusively in Jim Beglin's absence that commentary is vastly improved without an idiot jabbering on in the background. If there was any doubt, it's just been quashed now."
