change, not to mention the infamous day where during my teletext novice years I accidently put it on hold and thought the game had ended 0-0. Then at the age 13 discovered if i put the aerial on my radio in the right place I could get the faintest coverage of radio Norfolk for about 30 seconds every couple of minutes. That discovery was on a par with the first time I clobbered the old mongoose and realised there was more to life than pickled onion monster munch.
I couldn't have cared less that Roy Waller couldn't pronounce the names or you didn't know who had the ball, where on the pitch it was and what the f**k was going on, it was still f**king brilliant.
I loved my time with teletext and I loved my time with Roy. RIP you played an important part in many of our lives without knowing it, Goreham may be good but it aint the chaotic insanity we all grew up with.
