My take.......

IMHO the deal lambert was talking about with FF was obviously a permanent transfer not another loan deal.

I also think that Lambert doesnt want to left in the "lurch" if he is recalled.

Yes FF is a good young keeper but he also had some faults that might be more exploited in the quicker championship.
His kicking was a bit suspect which would be exploited by quicker strikers.

I am actually pretty happy with the way Lambert is handling everything.

Building the club with younger permanent talent with potential, no overpaid loan players.

What I fear is that we will achieve mid-table status next year and some will see that as failure when it is clearly a step forward.
