AB: Thanks for the fixutre iCal, my android is now prodly displaying the whole season of fixtures thank you very much.

CB42: on the left hand side of the Google Calendars page there should be an "other calendars" section, under that you should find an "add" button, next to a "settings"one, where you can import the .ics file, mine synced with my phone within second of importing it.
