OK so I've finally googled the tape-stuff many players have on their shirts

(it's some sports-sciencey thing, apparently) but I still don't know why some Slovakian players seemed to have bright blue stripes painted down their legs in at least one game.

Or do Slovakians have very long, flat, bright blue knobs? If only Tombs were here, he could answer that 'un.
