Honestly I think the Championship is a better league in many ways

Obviously not the quality/individual talent on display but because even when we were bossing the league we could, and did, lose to teams right near the bottom. No game was a foregone conclusion; the gap between top and bottom was and is reachable for all the teams.

Unlike the Premier League which is in reality at least three separate leagues - the Big Three/Four/Five, the Next Few and the Stay Uppers. Getting in to the Premiership from the Championship is imho much easier than moving say from Stay Uppers to Next Few....
