the starting formation was part of the problem

the whole 4-2-4 thing is never going to cut against a team who can pass it about and are "in the mood". Fulham clearly fulfilled both those. The refs decisions were a kick in the teeth at a crucial time but ultimately Fulham always looked more dangreous when they attacked than we did. We might at best have got a draw but that was never going to be enough. If we go up again we need a proper formation with 4 or 5 midfielders (and I fear that MIGHT require phasing out Hucks - who is undoubtedly a decent individual at Prem level but doesn't half bugger up your team formation). It been a learning experience - lets hope Worthy HAS learned the right lessons.
