Robert Koren, (born 20 September 1980) is a Slovenian footballer who plays as a midfielder, as captain, for the Slovenian national team. In club football he is currently a free agent following his release by West Bromwich Albion at the end of the 2009-10 season and is expected to join Accrington Stanley after the World Cup.
