the goal batting first was to bat long enough to make at least a draw the most likely result (i.e. for teh best part of 2 days). That hasb't happened - this match is very very unlikely to finish in a draw. Which means we have to win. And we look about 100 runs short of a decent score on this wicket. If Aussies cock it up when they bat then it might all chance but at this moment we are on the back foot.
