I think everyone was hoping that we'd still somehow improve the team

whereas worthy has just been looking for a short-term measure to cover us for all our striker problems at the moment.

He still fundamentally feels that the current first XI - Flem at CB, one (and at times both) of Hughes and Jarret in CM - is gogod enough.

Time will tell.
