Being bankrupt since 2007 and not declaring it might be enough. There's false accounting too. Then again since this is some sort of informal private arrangement the law might be hazy

If his investors are f**ked off about it then they should call in the police or speak to a lawyer. They'll not get their money back mind. As you say: mugs
