Players are not motivated whatsoever, players are not playing for their country, their manager or for their own personal pride.
A decent manager needs to find what it is that makes a player play well and utilise that, whether that's happiness, money, pride, nationalism, discipline, a love and desire for the manager or just football itself. Capello has done none of these things apart from the discipline. English players in particular do not respond well to this style of management.
Nationalism is not going to be enough for those players who's cultural backgrounds are not very English, because of my cultural differences and not having any English blood, I'd die in battle for my club before I would my country. So a manager in my instance would have to inspire me in other ways, Capello obviously does not do this.
Every decision Capello has had to make so far has been wrong . The way he treated Greeno was a disgrace.
The FA never learn a massive contract before a ball's been kicked just like with Sven. If we go out now and sack him another 10m wasted.
