This is so true, you see what you want to see. I quite like Lampard and I thought he had a decent game, but thought that I might have thought that because I quite like him. So relieved to see the stats suggest that too.

Whereas I don't like Pastyfacedwhingingviolentcheatmememe Gerrard, and was getting annoyed with him 1 second after he'd scored (for brushing Heskey away so he could run to the corner flag giving it the big "look at MEEEEE everyone I SCORED I I I I I did it it was MEEEEEEE f**k off Heskey no-one cares that you played the perfect ball into me it's all about MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"). I realise that this is irrational because it was actually a bloody good finish but hey.

In fact I realised that if Ingerlund did miraculously win the World Cup my joy would be slightly spoilt by the fact that the cup would be lifted by Stevie Me
