I thought they were dreadful , the back four were laboured and unconvincing , I forgot Lampard was playing , Gerrard misplaces so many passes , Rooney was peripheral and Heskey brings nothing in my eyes to the team , admittedely the US were set up to stop England playing rather than trying to win - aiming to keep Cole and Johnson back , battling in midfield and woul probbaly not have scored other than from an error

Slovenia and ALgeria were awful , so England should win both of those games and then pray they avoid the germans

ITV could not accept that england were not great and the jingoistic commentary annoyed me greatly - Radio Five here I come on Friday
