is that whilst I see the need for a Heskey to hold the ball up so that a Rooney can then make space, I also believe that the ballholderupper, whoever he may be, can then move back into the position where he is also a potential goal scorer. I thought Heskey played pretty well on Saturday, but in the absence of goals coming from the person that he has holdedtheballupfor, I do think that he needs to be able to contribute on that front too.
Otherwise you might as well just put up a big cardboard bouncy thing.
