The Heskey played well myth.

IMO he shouldn't be near the squad. I guess that people have such low expectations of this player, the fact he got 3/4 headed flick on's an held the ball up 2/3 times, and played a 5 yard pass that led to the goal, is enough to go in to raptures about how great he played.

His miss was pathetic. Its not the fact he didn't score, I accept you can't get them all, but that he had absolutely no idea what to do. He did not have the ability to try anything that might lead to a goal. Any game up the park the striker would try to send the keeper the wrong way, or dribble past, or run in and chip over the dive, anything! .I'd play Defoe.
