I'm also with you on the sentiment. I want England to win, but I don't get anywhere near as intense about it as I would in a Nodge match. And when it starts to go bosoms up I tend to switch off a bit, rather than going berserk and getting really het up. I've loved the other matches (didn't see the France one) and so am enjoying the tournament quite a lot. I suppose in a silly sad way I really love 'our' players, and I don't have that emotional tie with the england ones.
But I did invent a great new nickname for Hoolahan today.
