Firstly if they are protecting a lead late in the game as he is great at closing down and making it difficult to get out of defence and secondly if there is an attacking fullback taking advantage of Robben's marauding (and the opponent still has a way of defending Robben).
That's normally the way they work anyway.
Robben, van der Vaart, van Persie and Sneijder, and then they've got Huntelaar, Kuyt and I think also Babel waiting in the wings.
They're gonna do the usual. Rip up some teams and then get done over by the first disciplined, decent counter-attacking side they meet.
