I think it's cos he's a good actor (which he is to be fair)

but ended up on a comedy series, so on the back of that is straight in the show biz world

Ted Bovis was a genius character on Hi De Hi. It was supposed to be a piss take of holiday camp comedians, but it's somehow proof that this s**t will never go away
