I think the issue is with "it's what the country wanted" when

it is quite clearly what 37% of the country (or those that could be bothered to vote) wanted. And not what 63% of the country/voters wanted.

You could also assume that those that didn't vote didn't want that either (else they would have voted for them) - I really can't be arsed to work out that percentage though.
