Has anyone bought a Freeview HD recorder yet please?

I've been waiting for the Toshiba one for ages and am becoming tempted by the PHP makes newly on sale. PHP, I've learned, is the brand for Philips equipment actually made by Pace. I wouldn't buy a Philips because I don't want the risk of buying ANOTHER product that I want to smash with multiple hammers - but Pace are a respected make, I believe? I've never owned anything they've made, though.
