Yeah, wonder what Beattie is on at Stoke

He was 45k a week at Everton
I think it was 25k at sheff utd but for 3 years
I reckon stoke will have upped that cos they wanted quality

Gonna guess this is fletchers pay day, and he'll be jumping from 10k a week to about 25

I wonder if that's why they've stumped up the transfer fee, cos if the worst happened and they went down, they could finance that wage, rather than beatties 50k a week demand for a 2 year deal (and potential barny with the boss)
