...despite the fact CPFC2010 have said they will pull out if players are sold, this is the only current course of action in the short-term so that the club can remain a going concern.

CPFC2010 know this, and will concede on this point as it gives them more time to renegotiate the deal re Selhurst Park to more favourable terms.

Thus, the club will survive, but with a far weaker squad than they have.
