yes i know the money went on over a long period

and i do agree that trading markets like this can be lots of fun

it's just that this particular strategy doesn't seem to have a lot going for it. the tournament hasn't started yet. how can the price movements have meant a guaranteed loss already? i was trying to give a simple example as to why the method is flawed.
