personally I think we need another CB, Askou is unproven at this level

as is Nelson, 1 of which I believe will leave (the former). That leaves Ward, Nelson, Whitbread, Spillane as back up. It's vital we have a tough pair of centre backs, we would look strong with McCarthy, Ward & Whitbread as the 3 main men. Also what about 3 centre backs with wing backs, you could then fit Hoolahan into the team fairly easily.
