I guess that's the beauty of it in the end, you can come up with your own interpretations and answers. Still frustrating though.

I like the Michael being the "help me" idea but there were loads of people like Michael and I'm not sure Michael was dead at that point. Could've been someone else though I guess.

Smoke (Christian Shep) got onto the boat in season 4 finale (when Jin's boat blew up) and from nowhere appears to Michael and says "You can go now" then BOOOM boat blows up and he dies. Remember?
