I think it's the performances...

that are pissing people off (well for me it is anyway).

We've had easy groups for the last two qualifying campaigns, yet I really don't remember many convincing performances. The fact that we've only scored 14 goals in 8 games (6 of those against N. Ireland, Wales and Azerbaijan) with a team boasting Owen, Rooney, Beckham, Lampard and Gerrard is not good in my opinion.
