I don't know but I think despite those horrid years of disastrous football the fans have become much more demanding. Lambert's point about the moaning if not 5 up in the first 30 seconds seemed spot on to me. I wonder how Malky's hoofs would go down now - I think Nelson is the closest we've had to him. I'm sure that if Whitbread gets fit the two of them will be very Flem/Malky like, and I seem to remember that being a pretty good partnership!
