DNA may very well catch criminals, no doubt opening everyone's post

and listening to their phonecalls, and reading their text messages and emails would too

it doesn't mean it should be allowed.

even if the governement at the moment is relatively benign, it doesn't mean such a thing might not be seriously abused in the future
