bow to your knowledge on this one - what kinds of petty laws

My slight suspicion on this one has always been that it's easier to say they're there, than it is to actually identify the ones you'd get rid of. (As above - you mention the one you don't want repealed, but not any you do.)

But, as I say, would bow to your proximity to the legal system on this.
