What exactly would people have any of the three parties do? All three have weighed up their options constitutionally and we now end with what is clearly the *best* outcome on the basis of the seats won.

These stupid f**king c*nts who actually say they feel 'betrayed' by Nick Clegg. Give me strength! Perhaps he should simply dissolve his f**king party then. If you can't work out that a hung parliament was the best that any Liberal Party could ever hope for and that a coalition would be inevitable then f*ck off and live on the moon.

As a centre-left type in a centre-left type country, the presence of Liberal minds in a Conservative government is a blessing, a proper blessing. Thank God it isn't 1979.
