AV isn't really much better than what we have now, but if the Lib Dems are going to argue for full PR in the future they have to prove that coalition government can work in this country on a national level, else they won't have a leg to stand on when it comes to any referendum

this whole thing could well f**k them up as a political 'force' for a generation, but if they think it'll work long term...
