My chosen party in this election went ever so close to an outright win

I selected The Alliance Of Green Socialists because I liked the rather manifesto despite a few misgivings and the obvious pointlessness of it all.

My candidate picked up 126 other votes, narrowly missing out on the seat by a paltry 19000 votes. Damn close.

While i was watching the results not coming in, I flicked through the teletext to see how many other candidates were running (I couldn't be arsed going to the webby) and grew bored after looking at dozens of constituencies and finding only one other AGS candidate, In Kensington. I checked how he'd got on: I think he'd picked up 195 votes.

It's the party of the future. Rwyhif.
