The idea that Cameron never wanted to do a deal and become PM is a load of old bollox.

(Question is, and always was, whether Clegg can persuade his MPs and party to let him follow through on his commitment - to deal with whoever got most seats and votes. They are the reason he's having to talk to labour. He's got to persuade them that it would be the wrong choice.)
