i) McFadden is heavily left-footed, tho' Moyes has often played him on the right.... apols if this has already been stated, but I confess I haven't opened every message
ii) I don't know, as I've never Ricky Ponted
iii) Oh Arr - you urgently need to become very much less tedious, though I doubt your capability of such improvement
iv) Hotel California is hideous, particularly that frickun' multi-guitar bit near the end; when first I heard Boh Rhaps (when it came out, as it happens) my first question went along the lines of "What the hell is THAT all about?????".
But the worst song of all time, ever, and which cannot ever be challenged for that title, so perfect is it in its awfulness, is Wind Of Change by the Scorpions.
Our factory is a noisy place, obviously. The radio is on all the time, Radio Chester or whatever, but the music is very often much subdued by the machine noise.
On Monday, because we were short-staffed, it was agreed that there was little point in staggering the lads' breaktimes, so everyone switched off at the same time and headed for the canteen, leaving me alone in my little cubby-hole at the front of the building.
Two minutes after all the lads left, Wind of Change came on the radio, at full blast in a silent factory. At first I steeled my resolve - "it's only a song, how bad can it be" - but this didn't last long after the initial whistling. I closed both of my doors and the main factory door, but still the awful noise impinged.
I went outside, but the 'foyer' served as a primitive amplifier, and so the garbage seemed louder outside than in. Action needed to be taken.
I went into the factory with the intention of switching off the radio, immediately realising that I didn't know where the lads kept the radio..... and the song went ON, and ON, and ONNNNNNNNN...........
I lost control after that.
