I?ve just watched the season review 2002-3 to see Mcveigh in action and I?d forgotten how good he was. If he wasn?t scoring wonderful goals he was laying them on a plate for other people. The partnership he had with Roberts can definitely be reproduced with Ashton.
After scoring his 13th of the season, Worthy said ?He?s bright, he?s aware of the situation, he?s a quick thinker and will always score goals?. Sounds like someone we could do with at the moment. Come on Worthy, give him his chance. We might wonder how we ever did without him.
