Germans have two votes. It's their PR.

They have a set number of seats available for constituencies, then some left over for the PR percentages.

They have had the odd coalition government but things generally swing more or less like ours from left to right, with the FDP (Lib Dem equivalent) sometimes having a say.

And this is the biggest economy in Europe.
