In the meat processing plant I worked in

One of the production lines was staffed by woman who linked sausages. A source of common amusement was Dirty Kenny Dickerson who had to fill their machines with sausagemeat from a big wheeled skip. Kenny's idea of fun was to fill the machine and leave a big airpocket in the middle. Halfway through the sausage linking process the airbubble would escape and send a huge airfilled sausage about forty feet long down the factory. Oh how we laughed.

Kenny also did some less savoury things with the sausage meat hence my lengthy aversion to eating them.
