Well that's down to your ingenuity and what you might have to hand

You just have to keep them orff of of your skin, innit. I wear a padded jacket, gardening gloves and a widebrimmed hat, and to keep them off my face I went and had a look in my daughter's Fabrics Basket and found a length of clothes-type-netting (ask a woman what that's called) and wrapped it round my head so that the brim kept it away from my face. And tucked it into my collar.

It's weird, because in fact you aren't being brave at all, because you can't hear the wasps under all that protection. You'reonly aware of them when one walks across the net in front of your eyes, madly stinging away at an area 4 inches away from you.
