Why is your dead hubbies pension taxed?
Because we are skint, and all governments pi55 away squillions of pounds on things like SureStart, advanced cancer treatments that extend longevity by a matter of weeks, on ludicrous PFI-generated payments to consultants and lawyers, and a nucleur deterrent that is unlikely to ever be needed, and an ID scheme that will not serve its stated purpose, and a failed IT scheme for the NHS and solid-gold pension schemes for politicians, civil servants and other already-wealthy executives.

And them immigrants? They are needed to pay into that cradle-to-grave welfare system, because women throughout the western world are choosing work instead of child-bearing, with the resultant downturn in birth rates meaning pension & healthcare obligations are a zillion miles from being met.
