if she was saying that the subtext was "we dont want these foreignewrs here" i agree. If she was saying "its fine but more money needs spending on infrastructure to support them and local communities in adjusting" then she is not racist.
I suppose the other point is that if yopu are aginst all immigration, regardless of race or nationality does that make you racist or just a little englander...? bit of a mine field. My other concern is that we should be able to discuss immigation and its implecations without being labelled racist
