I read about this

Noades owned it and rented it to Palace. Jordan with much hoop la bought it off him. And then couldn't really afford it so sold it someone else. Who then rented it back to Palace for hugely more than Noades was charging. Which is one of the reasons Palace are in admin. Steve Norris, the Tory t**t, is invoved in the whole mess somewhere.
