Here are my thoughts.........

They probably don't want to dish out any punishment that will effect the LG tables as this would open up a series of appeals over the summer and legal action.

So they will probably wait until the end of the season and apply a punishment that has no effect.

It would not suprise me that in the meantime they encourage both sides to settle.
