Well, I am nonplussed by it either way - but the key thing was - we were all TOLD four or five times that coming on the pitch would result in the players not coming out again. Regardless of what you think about today's sanitised football (and I do have some sympathy with your view) - the fact is a small minority could well have f**ked it right up for the rest. It's as simple as that.
