you're right that my 25% is high

but 1983 and 87 their vote was around 25% and it's always been that 1983 result when a quarter of the votes only gained them 4% of the seats which has highlighted just how f**ked the FPTP system is (not that i knew about it at that time - it was only a few days before my 5th birthday)
