i don't agree with that, i think people are finally being given a chance to hear a Lib Dem

sing and they're actually quite liking it (but then i do like the tune they're singing and am biased)

it isn't like the Lib Dems are coming completely from nowhere though, history suggests that they always tend to improve their standing in the polls once an election campaign is underway as due to broadcasting rules the BBC and ITV have to give them equal airtime as the other 2 parties, and then people finally get to hear what they have to say.

also, despite the low number of seats this appalling FPTP system gets them, they've tended to have about 25% of the votes in a general election
