but you see why would he be rated higher than Holt?

Very similar players, very similar background, very similar records - if he's significantly better than Holt then fair dos, but I don't really get why everyone has gone ballistic about Lambert and just carried on slagging Holt off (here I'm referring to other fans). Similarly if Lambert had only just dropped to this division for one season I'd see the attraction of him as a higher league player, but he's never played above this level.
