Why is everyone being so harsh to Francis?

The guy single handedly kept us up with the early pace before christmas, top scoring midfielder until Lampard overtook. Very fit, box to box player, but has gone through a bad patch. Its a testiment to the guys quality that worthy feels an understrength Francis is better than anything else we have.

As to whether he is lazy bastard, i feel this is harsh, worthy has shown he will NOT tolerate bad apples, why would he treat francis any differently. Contrary to most peoples opinions i hope we keep him, a very gd player, and we should not be looking to sell him to the first team that comes in with an offer.

If he wants to leave and a team comes in with an acceptable bid then let him go, but ffs lets not lose an asset for less than he's worth.
