Wondrous creatures of God

I have a couple of conifers in my front garden, which are home to a blackbird. I *like* this bird. I've chased off magpies and cats that were bothering him, and even pulled a moggie out of the trees who'd climbed in to get at his nest when his missus was babbying.

These conifers have caused a patch of garden to go bald. The other week I put 500g of grass seed on this bald patch. Blackbird has eaten ALL of it. ALLLLLL of it. HALF A KILO.

Secondly: just now I went out to water the second lot of seed I put down. While I was doing it, a bee the size of Proxima Centauri flew into my house - and now I can't find it. Vanished. What's the little bastard up to?

I hate everything.
