During the last hectic days of the January transfer window the deal to sell Kaboul and Begovic was constructed as one deal with pricing set accordingly. When Begovic refused to sign for Spurs, it was agreed that they would receive a ?1m sell on fee if Begovic was sold to anyone else in January.
